London – January 18, 2010 – Pano Logic, the leader in zero client desktop virtualisation, today announced its new comprehensive partner programme intended to accelerate partner growth and profitability, and aggressively expand the EMEA channel. The programme to reward existing and new resellers of the PanoSystem, an all-in-one zero client desktop virtualisation platform, with generous margin incentives while reinforcing their continued commitment with comprehensive training, support, sales and marketing tools, and access to marketing funds to drive pipeline creation.
The innovative Pano Logic technology is the only VDI system to radically centralise all computing power to the virtualised server, so there is absolutely no processing power at the endpoint. Analyst houses Gartner and Forrester are both forecasting increased uptake of desktop virtualisation in 2010, with analyst Roy Illsley of OVUM predicting an increase from one per cent to five per cent of businesses using desktop virtualisation by the end of the year (Roy Illsley, 2010: The Tipping Point of Desktop Virtualisation; 2009). This presents a significant opportunity for resellers to increase profitability within their existing install base and add new customers. Existing partners are already taking advantage of the trend.
UK-based STL Technologies, who joined the Pano Partner Programme in October of 2009 experienced the traction and is now promoted to EMEA Premier Partner status, the first Pano Logic EMEA Premier Partner.
Richard Perkins, sales and marketing director of STL Technologies said: “We have seen considerable interest in Pano Logic across the public sector. From central to local government, education, public services and emergency services, the drive for longer term efficiency gains and energy savings has been a keen point of discussion”. On working with Pano, Perkins said: “Pano Logic has been excellent, helping us win new business in the desktop virtualisation market. The company’s channel support has been friendly, easy to work with and highly effective.”
Chris Hammans, managing director, EMEA of Pano Logic says: “Pano Logic prides itself on partnering with some of the most successful channel partners with high levels of technical skills and the ability to add real value to VDI solutions. This program provides real benefits to both our existing and new channel partners, and provides significant opportunities for profitability. It will form the foundation of our partner recruitment campaign in 2010.”
